This piece is part of the Fall Foliage: A Tribute to Autumn series I completed in the Fall of '21 (1/7), which features real leaves I collected and preserved from my travels across Appalachia from North Carolina to West Virginia, alongside the beautiful and unique wood I search out from across this beautiful mountain range I call home.

I created this piece from a single slab of black walnut cast into an octagonal mold which was then cut into a 30" circle. The base was hand carved from black walnut, and the piece measures 30" in total height. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
